Guide
Turkish food was never designed for individual plates. The cuisine’s natural unit is the table — a crowd of dishes landing in overlapping waves, everyone reaching, nobody counting. If you are bringing a group to LAYALI, here is how to order like you have done it a hundred times.
Wave one: cold meze for the middle — hummus, ezme, haydari — plus hot sigara böreği and enough fresh pide that nobody polices the bread basket. Wave two: the grill. Mixed platters exist for exactly this moment; Adana, shish, lamb chops and wings arriving together, charcoal still audible. Wave three, and do not skip it: künefe and baklava for the table, Turkish coffee and çay for the long goodbye. The rule of thumb is simple — order one more dish than the table thinks it needs. Nobody has ever regretted it.
Feeding twenty instead of four? That is what our grand banquet floor is built for — groups from 20 to 200, with set sharing menus and our private Sultan lounge for occasions that want a door that closes. And if the feast needs to happen at home or the office, we deliver it islandwide, direct from our own kitchen. However the table gathers, the waves stay the same. That is the Turkish way.
