Late Night
Ask Google for "restaurants open late in Singapore" and you will get lists — but half of them close by 10:30pm, which helps nobody at midnight. So here is the honest version, from people who actually work nights in this industry.
Your real options after 11pm cluster in a few places: the mamak institutions along Upper Thomson and Geylang for prata and teh tarik, a handful of Middle Eastern kitchens in Kampong Gelam, and the odd 24-hour food court. What is genuinely rare is a full-service restaurant — real grills, a real menu, real desserts — still cooking past midnight.
That is the gap we built LAYALI around. Our kitchen runs the complete menu until 1:00am daily: charcoal kebabs, shawarma carved to order, pide, meze, and künefe that still arrives sizzling at 12:30am. Plus islandwide delivery at $6.80 flat, free over $120, for nights when even the short walk to Beach Road is too much. Late-night dining in Singapore should not mean settling. Now it does not.
